Bonutti Clinic now offering Fingerprinting Services

Bonutti Clinic now offers digital fingerprinting services to accommodate the needs of local employers. Bonutti Clinic is the only site in South Central Illinois to provide Identix Fingerprinting services.
Recent changes in Federal & State Laws, especially the Department of Homeland Security necessitate employers to know the background of their applicants for employment. Whether a business is involved in transportation, healthcare or finance, a thorough applicant history is a must. That is why Identix created the TouchPrint™ Enhanced Definition 3000 Series for recording fingerprints.
Currently, all applicants for Hazmat Certification on CDLs are required by law to be fingerprinted. This trend is also being seen in government, law enforcement, gaming and healthcare. The TouchPrint™ Enhanced Definition 3000 brings a new level to fingerprint technology by creating a clearer, more detailed image. When the TouchPrint™ Enhanced Definition 3000 scan is performed, digital images are forwarded via the Internet with secure encryption to Identix and to the Illinois State Police.
Bonutti Clinic expects to use the fingerprinting system mostly for Hazmat Certification. Any business that wishes to have employees and applicants fingerprinted is encouraged to contact the clinic. The entire process takes between 10 and 20 minutes per person.
Bonutti Clinic's services are divided into six broad areas, encompassing a full range of musculoskeletal care, including Orthopedic Surgery, Occupational health, Urgent care, Pain management, Diagnostics and Rehabilitation. Our specialists provide in-depth expertise and take a team approach to patient care, ensuring that all patients receive the services they need for optimal treatment outcomes. Bonutti Clinic is located at 1303 W. Evergreen Ave. in Effingham.
Metal on Metal Surface Arthroplasty of the Hip
Only 24 Surgeons Nationally
Surface Arthroplasty is an exciting new procedure being introduced by Dr.
Daniel Dethmers of Bonutti Clinic. Presently there are only two sites in Illinois
where this procedure is available. As an international leader in Joint
Replacement, Bonutti Clinic is proud to be one of the first National sites to
offer this procedure.
Surface Arthroplasty of the hip combines two of the major technological trends in joint replacement. The use of very low wear "hard bearings" and minimally invasive surgery.
Surface arthroplasty uses a super hard, extremely polished metal bearing surface. This has a volumetric wear rate of < 1% of a conventional metal on polyethylene total hip. It is a technology that has proven itself in wide use in Europe and Australia. In both of these markets, the surface arthroplasty has had great success in restoring near normal function in the most demanding group of patients - young active adults.
Surface replacement of the hip is minimally invasive. Hip surface replacement conserves the normal bone of the femur and pelvis to a much greater degree than conventional total hip replacement. Because the natural anatomy of the hip is preserved, the surface replacement has a more natural "feel" and stability than a conventional total hip replacement.
Long-lasting, better stability, feel and function - surface hip arthroplasty is a major advance in hip replacement surgery.
Surface arthroplasty is best suited for patients without severe deformity or shortening and is ideally suited for the younger active patient with hip arthritis.
